Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean wants to deal in Bolo Zenden.

The Lancashire Telegraph says owners Venky's are yet to give the green light to the signing, with negotiations still needed before any potential deal is sorted.

The 35-year-old has been without a club since leaving Sunderland at the end of last season but is now hoping he has done enough to earn a short term deal at Ewood Park.
