Barcelona starlet Jeffren Suarez is at the centre of an international tug-of-war.

The 19 year-old attacking midfielder has played for Spain at youth level, but is wanted by Venezuela, the country of his birth.

Jeffren, who is good friends with Real Mallorca's Venezuelan star Juan Arango, was selected for the Copa America, but was forced to miss the tournament due to injury.

For the moment, his advisors are urging him to commit to Spain.
