Former Barcelona coach Terry Venables says Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson should buy Samuel Eto'o. In his column for The Sun, El Tel wrote: "Alex Ferguson will make another trip to Wembley when his Manchester United team take on Chelsea in the Community Shield next month.
"And if he is not too busy he might want to visit the Arch next weekend as well. For those of you who do not know, the stadium will be staging the Wembley Cup - featuring Tottenham, Celtic, Al Ahly and, most poignantly, for Sir Alex, Barcelona. Not only will he see some great football, he will also see a possible solution to United's summer discontent. His name is Samuel Eto'o.
"That's right, the same Eto'o who scored Barca's opener against United in May's Champions League final. The same Eto'o who has scored 108 goals in five years at Nou Camp. The same Eto'o who has been courted by Manchester City.
"And the same Eto'o I believe can fill the void at Old Trafford caused by the shattering departures of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez."
