Former Tottenham boss Terry Venables rates Swansea City striker Michu as the signing of the season.

El Tel wrote in The Sun: "If you had said "Michu" to most fans a year ago, their reply would have been, 'Bless you'.

"Everyone knows him now after new Swansea boss Michael Laudrup signed the Spaniard (left) from Rayo Vallecano for just £2m last summer.

"And he is without a doubt the bargain of the season so far with 13 Prem goals in 19 league games for the Swans."
