Former Tottenham and Middlesbrough boss Terry Venables is wanted at Newcastle United.
The Sunday Express says Newcastle owner Mike Ashley is ready to bring Venables in to work alongside coaches Colin Calderwood and Chris Hughton with manager Joe Kinnear set to miss the rest of this season.
