Former Chelsea striker Terry Venables feels Robin van Persie can fire Arsenal to victory today.
Venables reasoned in his column for The Sun: "Blues skipper John Terry returns to action in the wake of his race row, having been rested for the Carling Cup win at Everton on Wednesday.
"And he could not face a stiffer test than playing against Robin van Persie.
"The Gunners striker is the Premier League's in-form hitman, having netted six goals in his last four games.
"It just shows what he can achieve when he is fit and playing regularly.
"His critics claim he is only playing so well because he is trying to engineer a move away from the Emirates.
"Who cares as long as he keeps banging in the goals?
"The contract stuff can be sorted out at the end of the season when, if he continues playing and scoring like this, the Gunners will surely be close to regaining their top-four status."
