Velez Sarsfield general manager Christian Bassedas has revealed that the club is in negotiations regarding the sale of Gino Peruzzi.
Sunderland have been heavily linked with the 21-year old Argentine right-back for a few weeks now and it appears as though Velez are talking with the Black Cats regarding a summer transfer.
"There is a meeting going on right now for Peruzzi," said Bassedas, who played for Newcastle United in the early 2000s. "Peruzzi won't be staying at this club."
