Velez Sarsfield defender Nicolas Otamendi has welcomed interest from AC Milan.
The Argentina international has been linked with Milan, along with Real Madrid and Manchester City.
"If it's true that Milan are interested in me, it would be an honour," Otamendi told TMW. "The Rossoneri are one of the best clubs in the world, and have some of the best players such as Ronaldinho, [Alessandro] Nesta and many others.
"But the truth is that the media speak about an interest from Milan, but I know nothing of it. Wearing the Milan jersey would be an honour.
"At Velez, I have learnt a lot, and I owe everything that I know to the club. It is well organised and has incredible people working for them.
"Staying in Argentina would not be a problem, but I want to grow as a player, and impose myself on European football."
