A move to Velez Sarsfield is back on for Cagliari striker Joaquin Larrivey.

Having scored just two goals in 39 outings, the Sardinians have approved the loan switch to Velez Sarsfield.

"At Velez I will be able to play regularly and show my full ability," Larrivey explained in Unione Sarda.

"I'm sad that I am leaving because I will miss this fantastic squad, but I haven't had much space.

"However, this is me saying see you later rather than goodbye to Cagliari."
