Fulham boss Roy Hodgson could insist Carlos Vela moves to Craven Cottage on a season-long loan arrangement if Arsenal step up their interest in defender Brede Hangeland. Mexican striker Vela moved to the Emirates Stadium last summer from Osasuna.
The 20-year-old went on to find the net six times in ten starts and 19 substitute appearances for Wenger's side last term.
