Vejle BK goalkeeper Jimmy Neilsen is close to completing a move to MLS outfit Kansas City Wizards.

The 32-year old shot-stopper, who has had stints with Aalborg, Leicester City and Millwall, is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Wizards and is excited about the potential of a new challenge.

"This is a huge challenge for me," Nielsen told Soccer365. "I am really looking forward to it. I've played for a really long time in Denmark and I've played the same teams so many times. I'm looking forward to this new challenge."

Nielsen is on his way to Kansas for a medical and if he passes, will sign the one-season deal with an option for a second.
