Cristiano Ronaldo admits he and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez haven't always been on the same page. Ronaldo penned a new deal to 2018 with Real yesterday.

"I'm happy here and so I renewed. Everything was already practically closed, but I left with a good feeling, a feeling of accomplishment," Ronaldo told RTP.

"I never had big problems with the president, although it is obvious that many times we do not agree with many things, but it's part of life."

Ronaldo fired a thinly veiled warning to new teammate Gareth Bale.

"I came to Madrid as the most expensive player of all time and the pressure was huge. I had to prove to Real Madrid that the price they paid for me was justified..."
