Vaughan says Sunderland season ready for lift-off

David Vaughan feels Sunderland's season is set for take-off after victory at Bolton Wanderers.

Last weekend's 2-0 win at Bolton lifted the Black Cats away from the drop zone and eased the pressure on boss Steve Bruce.

"After beating Stoke, we then went to Norwich and turned in our worst display of the season," midfielder Vaughan said.

"It's vital we build on the Bolton win and don't turn in a similar show to the one at Norwich."
