Vasco da Gama young gun Indio will trial with Arsenal with the view to a move to the London club when he turns 18.
The 16-year old midfielder, who says he is a big fan of Theo Walcott, will spend a week with the Gunners and hopes to impress enough to win a professional contract for when he is 18 in February 2014.
"I like [Walcott] a lot. His style of play is very fast, which pleases me," he told Globo Esporte.
"I'm anxious for this new stage in my life. I'll spend a week at Arsenal. It will be cool, I hope I enjoy it.
"Of course I have the dream of playing for a European club, but everything has its right time. It will be a good experience. I want to learn."
