Varese chief Mauro Milanese says they plan to sign permanently Manchester City striker Luca Scapuzzi.

The 21 year-old comes off contract at City in January.

Milanese told TMW: "There are not many of '91 better than him, he has a good shot, good quality and is important for us.

"Luca can carve out his future here. He represents a big future for Varese."
