Jamie Vardy was in a positive frame of mind after he helped Leicester City stage a remarkable comeback to defeat Manchester United 5-3 on Sunday.
The promoted Foxes scored four times after the hour-mark to produce a fairytale result in front of their loyal fans at the King Power Stadium with Vardy netting in the 79th minute to edge his side ahead.
After the match, the former Fleetwood Town ace spoke of the significance of the result over a club such as United and felt that he and his teammates were able to get the better of Louis van Gaal's star-studded line-up by troubling the defence.
"Absolutely brilliant - you can see what it means to the fans as well," he told Sky Sports 1 after also winning the penalty which Leonardo Ulloa dispatched for the win.
"But we know that we can give anyone a game. We have looked into them all week and found their weaknesses and we have exploited them today, and its showed in the result.
"It's massive. Obviously, it's not been an easy journey to come here, and now we are at the top, but it's all about staying here now.
"We managed to get three points today and that moves us up the table a bit."
