Jamie Vardy has reaffirmed Leicester's position on Riyad Mahrez and says the consistent speculation has not affected the squad.

Mahrez has been linked with a move to Roma and Arsenal, but Vardy has continued along the same line as Craig Shakespeare in saying that there have been no bids for the Algerian.

"It is just all paper talk and you are going to get this at this stage of the season," said Vardy.

"Riyad has been the one linked left, right and centre, but from what we understand no bids have come in and he has been training exactly how he would have last year and the year before that.

"It is not changed him. Until the club reach an agreement with anyone and accept a bid, then that will be time for him to go talk to them.

"At the moment there is nothing and he is giving 110 per cent in training. You have seen how he played out there (during the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool), he had a great game until he came off so he isn't letting it affect him either."
