Jamie Vardy says Leicester City can feel a great sense of pride despite their Champions League exit.
The Foxes surprised all by advancing o the quarter-finals of Europe's elite club competition where they were stopped by Atletico Madrid who only edged them 2-1 on aggregate.
Tonight's 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium was not quite enough to continue the Euro dream but goalscorer Vardy was not feeling too downcast after a stellar run in their first try at this level.
"We absolutely gave it our all and they had to make a lot of blocks on the line. On another day some of those could have gone in. But we can be proud," said Vardy.
"We knew it was going to be hard but it was a fantastic effort. We gave it our all and left it all out there on the pitch."
