Jamie Vardy's new deal is set to spark new contract talks for several Leicester City teammates.

The Daily Mail says representatives of Leicester's other marquee players — Riyad Mahrez, Kasper Schmeichel, Danny Drinkwater and N'Golo Kante — will be looking for similar contracts to Vardy's six- figure mark now that the previous £80,000-a-week salary cap has been breached.

The opinion shared between the Leicester A-listers is that winning the title was a team effort and if Vardy is being rewarded so should the rest of them.

Leicester infuriated the FA by announcing Vardy's signing during the tournament when the England camp had made it clear there were to be no club negotiations during the team's stay in France.
