Vardy can 'absolutely' become Leicester legend - Morgan

Leicester City captain Wes Morgan believes Jamie Vardy can hit legend status at the club.

The 28-year-old striker converted from the penalty spot in the Foxes 2-1 win at Norwich City on Saturday to take his season tally to seven goals from eight matches.

Vardy is sitting on top of the Premier League scoring charts and teammate Morgan believes he is a constant thorn in the side of opposition defenders.

When asked if the former Fleetwood Town star could become a Leicester legend, defender Morgan said: "Absolutely.

"Vards is a very unique character. He's very focused. He's one of the lads - and he's a pain in the backside of any opposition defender.

"He keeps going for 90 minutes plus. After 70 minutes they start getting tired but he never does. I can speak from experience - that's the worst nightmare for any defender."

Vardy's goals thus far has contributed greatly to Leicester's current standing of faith position on the league table.
