Another graduate from the Jamie Vardy Academy has landed a pro deal.

The Mirror says Crawley have signed winger Ashley Nathaniel-George on a two-year contract after being impressed with his performances at the Jamie Vardy Academy.

The 23-year-old, who has previously played for Hendon, Aylesbury United and Potters Bar Town, was spotted by the League Two club during a trial match.

Crawley director of football Selim Gaygusuz told the club's official website: “There were over 40 players there and Ashley stood out.

“He's quick, loves to take defenders on and has got a good goalscoring record. The chance is there for him, and it's up to him to go and grab it."
