Gold Coast United signing, Jess Vanstrattan, is reportedly trialling with Polish club Wisla Krakow. Sources in Spain suggested to 442 that the former Juventus custodian is holding a secret trial whilst the club is training in Spain ahead of the resumption of the Polish League following a mid-season break.

It is not the first time that a Gold Coast signing has been linked with another club before making an appearance.

Wellington Phoenix striker Shane Smeltz, who also signed with the new A-League franchise, was reportedly interested in a move to Turkey before committing to the Clive Palmer-owned club.
