Vancouver Whitecaps are close to securing the services of Nigel Reo-Coker according to reports.
The 28-year old former West Ham United, Aston Villa and Bolton midfielder has been linked with a MLS move and it appears as though he could continue his career in Canada with his agent Richard Trafford suggesting that may be the case.
"Martin (Rennie) did such a good job of selling the club to him," Trafford told The Province. "It looks like the player will come."
It is believed that Portland Timbers had first rights to sign Reo-Coker but an offer was not forthcoming and it looks as though British Columbia will be his new home.
