Kenny Miller has indicated that he may soon decide to call time on his international career.
The 33-year old Vancouver Whitecaps striker has made 68 appearances for Scotland since 2001 but feels he may have to step aside to let the next generation through after a failed World Cup qualifying campaign.
"That's a real honour, but what happens next is something I'm going to have to look at," he said after discovering he had gone seventh on the all-time Scotland's caps list.
"I'll have a wee chat with the manager (Gordon Strachan), because there are a lot of young, fresh faces in the squad and there always comes a time when older guys like me have to step out of the way."
He added: "Yes, I'll probably make myself available for Croatia in June, but we'll wait and see what the future holds.
"I'm delighted to have made it this high on the appearance list.
"If you'd told me 13 years ago, when I first came into international football, that I'd have 68 caps and have scored 17 goals, I'd probably have laughed at you.
"Having said that, I'd swap caps for results any time."
