Owen Hargreaves remains a target for MLS newcomers Vancouver Whitecaps according to recent reports.
The 30-year old Canadian-born former England international is a free agent after his contract with Manchester United expired at the end of last season and the Whitecaps are showing plenty of interest.
Hargreaves was targeted by West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson earlier this summer but nothing came to fruition and he has since been spotted in downtown Vancouver with Whitecaps officials indicating that perhaps Bob Lenarduzzi and co. are looking to bring in another big name to North America's domestic competition.
