Vancouver Whitecaps have added Ghanaian midfielder Aminu Abdallah to its roster.
The 19-year old Ghana U20 international has been added to the senior list after impressing with the Whitecaps reserves following his move from homeland club Allies FC.
Per Major League Soccer and club policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
"Aminu is a big, young, powerful player with huge potential," said head coach Martin Rennie.
"He is a left-footed box-to-box player who can bring a lot to the team with his ability to win balls in the air and connect passes."
