Kenny Miller is in doubt for Scotland's upcoming World Cup qualifiers because of a hamstring injury.
The Vancouver Whitecaps striker may miss Scotland's trips to Wales and Belgium next weekend after picking up the problem in the recent 4-0 MLS win over Chivas USA.
Whitecaps head coach Martin Rennie, a fellow Scotsman, suggested that perhaps 32-year old Miller may not take part in Craig Levein's line-up for the Cardiff and Brussels fixtures.
"I don't think it's anything too major but he felt a bit of pain so we couldn't risk it," he said.
"I'm not too sure how that will affect Kenny's Scotland call-up.
"I've not really found out yet but I think he will still be involved. I don't think it's anything too major from what I understand but we'll get more information on that."
