Corey Hertzog has joined North American Soccer League side FC Edmonton on loan.
The Vancouver Whitecaps have loaned the 23-year old former New York Red Bulls forward to the Eddies for the remainder of the 2013 NASL season but the MLS club has the option recall him whenever they wish.
"I'm very happy Corey is joining us," said Edmonton head coach Colin Miller.
"Thanks to the tremendous working relationship between Edmonton and Vancouver all of this was made possible. Corey has great pace and will cause defenses problems in our league. He has a great attitude, works hard and will be a crowd favourite."
Hertzog spent time on loan with Wilmington Hammerheads last season, scoring 11 goals in 20 USL Pro League outings. He has played seven times for the Whitecaps this campaign, scoring one goal.
