First-year MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps have made it clear they will add to their squad this summer.
The Canadian outfit currently sit at the bottom of the Western Conference table and new coach Tom Soehn feels it is vital to freshen up the squad at the halfway mark of the season.
"We're looking to upgrade our squad, even if it ends up being for next season, and that's not to suggest we've given up on this season at all," he said.
"The approach we'll take is one of finding players who can help us immediately, but not a quick fix. Players who we want around for a few years."
