Vancouver Whitecaps are believed to be close to signing Carlos Bocanegra from Rangers.

SunSport suggests that the Whitecaps are extremely keen on the former Fulham, Rennes and Saint-Etienne man and with his future in Scotland unknown, a shift back to Major League Soccer – where he kicked off his career with Chicago Fire – could be on the cards.
