Vancouver Whitecaps dump Kia and drive away with Ford

The Vancouver Whitecaps have announced a multi-year sponsorship agreement with Ford, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

Under the terms of the deal, the carmaker becomes the official automobile of the franchise, while it will also attach its name to a family zone in a designated seating section of BC Place Stadium during Whitecaps home games.

Additionally, Ford will sponsor the 'Caps Clubhouse presented by Ford, a concourse activation space targeted towards parents and kids, who will be invited to participate in games and create supportive signs to hold up in the stands.

"We couldn't be happier to welcome one of the world's strongest brands into our family," said Whitecaps chief operating officer Rachel Lewis. "The Ford Family Zone and 'Caps Clubhouse promises to be a fantastic new addition to our match-day experience."

Ford replaces Kia as the official car partner of the Whitecaps.
