Vancouver Whitecaps confirm signing of Danish keeper Ousted

Danish goalkeeper David Ousted has signed with Vancouver Whitecaps.

The 28-year old joins the MLS club after spending the past three seasons with homeland outfit Randers and will officially become part of the Whitecaps roster pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate and Visa.

"David is a solid goalkeeper with a commanding presence at the back," said Whitecaps FC head coach Martin Rennie.

"He's been an outstanding performer in Denmark over the past couple of seasons and I'm delighted to welcome him to the club."

Ousted kicked off his career with Brondby in 2003 before moving to Hellerup IK in 2006. He then shifted to SonderjyskE where he was part of the second division title-winning team prior to his 2010 shift to Randers where he appeared in the Europa League during the 2010/11 season.
