Van Persie upset for Arsenal crocks Arteta, Wilshere

Arsenal skipper Robin van Persie is disappointed for injured teammates Mikel Arteta and Jack Wilshere.

Van Persie wrote in The Sun: "I have to mention what a shame it is that we have lost Mikel Arteta for the rest of the season on top of the news that Jack Wilshere's season is over and he won't play at the Euros.

"Mikel has been a great signing since he arrived from Everton.

"As for Jack it is a sad end to a miserable season. It has been a blow for us to be without the services of such an exceptional player.

"Now he has to concentrate on being fit for the start of next season.

"England will miss Jack, but his long-term health is the most important thing and Arsenal and England will get the benefits once he comes back completely fit and ready to go."
