Robin van Persie admits his Arsenal future is tied to manager Arsene Wenger.
"At Sevilla I could have earned a lot more but my mind was made up that I was going to London because I thought that was going to be the best way to develop and improve myself as a footballer.
"I always felt that the money would come later. I function at my best when I feel pleasure around me and here at Arsenal I've found both that and everything else that I desire.
"I'm living in a quiet village near London and everything at the club is organised to perfection.
"On the pitch things are going great and we're playing the way I like. So I'm enjoying every day but I'm also realistic.
"One day the working relationship will come to an end, whether that is because I go or because Arsene Wenger leaves.
"But, for now, that isn't the case and as long as things are as good as they are now then I'm staying.
"I owe Wenger a big debt of thanks because he believed in me.
"In the hard times he always said I had to be patient and that the rewards would come themselves. Wenger has always kept his word. I believe in him and he believes in me."
