Van Persie: I've learned teamwork at Arsenal

Robin van Persie admits joining Arsenal has forced him to become a team player.

"When I came to Arsenal," van Persie said, "I played for myself basically. But then I looked around at Robert Pires, Dennis, everyone basically. They had one sort of idea of playing football.

"At Arsenal, I really felt everyone thinks and wants the same. I realised this is how I want to play, how I can be happy. I think it is beautiful that a player, when he is about to shoot, sees a colleague in a better position and passes it.

"I don't see it happen with other teams very often. I see lots of strikers, lots of players, playing for themselves."
