Arsenal captain Robin van Persie admits he is excited to watch the clubs youngsters in action in tonight's Carling Cup meeting with Bolton Wanderers.
The Gunners host the Trotters at Emirates Stadium in the fourth round and van Persie, who is likely to be rested, is buzzing to see the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Emmanuel Frimpong, Francis Coquelin, Park Chu-young and Ryo Miyaichi strut their stuff.
"I'm very much looking forward to seeing the guys play," Van Persie told the club's official matchday programme.
"They had a really nice game against Shrewsbury (3-1 win) in the last round and you saw lots of young players, big talents, make a real impact. I've trained with most of them, and watched them play, so I can tell you that there is a lot of talent in these players.
"What's special for me is that they're not scared - whether they're playing at Emirates Stadium or the training ground, all they know is to play their football and enjoy it.
"I'm excited to see how they'll do against what is a very good Bolton side - it's another step for them and a big test, so we should be in for an interesting evening and I've no doubt they'll perform well."
