Robin van Persie is demanding huge money to leave Manchester United.

The Sunday Mirror says Van Persie wants a £12million pay-off to leave Manchester United.

Turkish club Fenerbahce have tabled a four-year offer to the Dutch striker that matches the £250,000-a-week deal he currently earns at Old Trafford — and United are prepared to allow Van Persie to leave for a cut-price £5m to get him off the wage bill.

But the 31-year-old will demand that they pay up the last 12 months of his contract if they want him out.
