Former Holland striker Pierre van Hooijdonk has urged Robin van Persie to leave Manchester United.
The veteran forward is being linked with Besiktas this week.
And Van Hooijdonk feels there's no way back at United for Van Persie under manager Louis van Gaal.
"After last season, he will have to do a lot better to play for his club," said Van Hooijdonk.
"I feel that his relationship with Van Gaal is not as good as at the time they were socializing in the stands at Vitesse. I would recommend Robin leave this summer Manchester United. All signals indicate that they want to sell him and so he should get out."
