Bayern Munich are monitoring Robin van Persie's comeback at Arsenal.
L'Equipe says Bayern's Dutch coach Louis van Gaal wants to bring his countryman to Munich in the summer. Van Gaal already has Mark van Bommel and Arjen Robben on the books.
Van Persie is seen by Bayern as a replacement for Miroslav Klose and they have the spending power to test Arsenal's resolve.
The striker, working back from long-term ankle injury, has a deal with the Gunners until 2014.
