Louis van Gaal has implored his Manchester United side to continue their good form in this week's Premier League fixture.
The Red Devils, who have won three fixtures in a row, host Stoke City on Tuesday night and manager van Gaal wants them to roll-on with the results that has seen them return to the top four over the past month "Winning, for a top club like Manchester United, is the most important thing in a week, or in a day," he said.
"Especially when we are in fourth position in the league table you have to win, otherwise others shall overcome you. Of course I had hoped that we would win on Saturday (against Hull City) but we have to win also against Stoke City.
"But in the Premier League nothing is easy."
United are currently sitting behind Chelsea, Manchester City and Southampton after gathering 22 points in 13 league matches while Stoke are 12th after a run of two straight losses.
