Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has refused to shut down talk of a bid for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.

The Welshman is being linked with United this week.

Bale could be used in an exchange deal for David de Gea. But Van Gaal would not be moved on his targets.

"I see that I buy everyone in the world but it is not like that," he said.
