Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal believes they'll challenge for titles next season.
United's defeat at Chelsea, following a six-game winning run in the league, has not shaken Van Gaal's belief that his side are on the right lines.
The Dutch boss, who takes his side to Everton today, said: "Normally our philosophy shall give titles.
"I'm here for three years and I will be pleased to deliver a title in that period. But maybe we can do it next year. I'm always at a club to win championships - not to finish third or fourth. It is the board, the owners who have set me that target."
