Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal insists they're taking the FA Cup seriously.
United host League OneSheffield United in the FA Cup today having not come close to winning a trophy since Sir Alex Ferguson retired as boss in 2013.
And Van Gaal admitted: “It's always very important (to win trophies) for a lot of reasons.
“You have to win trophies, then the fans are happy and sponsors are happy, they are coming to the stadium with a lot of confidence. Also for the continuity of the club it's very important.
“So that's why I think Manchester United has contracted me, because they have the belief that I shall give them a prize at the end of my contract. Maybe in my second year, it's still possible."
