Louis van Gaal has warned the Manchester United board he won't tolerate any interference.
Speaking after Holland beat Ghana in a friendly on Saturday, he made reference to former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness, with whom he clashed during his time at the German club.
Van Gaal said: "I decide for myself what formation my team plays. No director does that for me. Yeah, Hoeness did, that's why I left."
