Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is desperate to prise Mats Hummels away from Borussia Dortmund.
The Germany defender has in the past week pledged his long-term future to BVB.
But the Sunday Express says Van Gaal has told United's money men to make Dortmund an offer they can't refuse for central defender Hummels.
