Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has held crunch talks with the club's owners over their stuttering form. Joint owners Joel and Avi Glazer jetted into Manchester from America earlier this week, says the Daily Star. The brothers took in the win over Burnley.
It is understood the Glazers met Van Gaal yesterday at a secret location to discuss the team's progress and the manager's spending plans for the summer.
Among the issues on the agenda were David de Gea's contract situation and Radamel Falcao's loan deal with AS Monaco.
A source said: "The manager was planning to meet the Glazers for a chat about all sorts of things, but mainly his targets and the progress of the side. I'd imagine both parties had a lot to talk about."
