Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is becoming increasingly convinced that Robert Lewandowski will solve his goalscoring problems. The Bayern Munich striker has struggled in his first season under coach Pep Guardiola.
However, the Daily Express says he is high on Van Gaal's wanted list.
Bayern are believed to be looking for around £30m for the Poland international, who moved to the Allianz Arena last summer on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund.
Lewandowski, 26, has bagged 10 goals in 20 Bundesliga appearances for the German giants this season.
