Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has told Marouane Fellaini he has a big role to play in his plans. The Belgian flop, 26, has struggled since making a £27.5m move from Everton last year. He has yet to score for United and is currently sidelined with an ankle injury.
But the Daily Star says Van Gaal has sat down with the midfielder to discuss his role.
There the Dutchman outlined his plans to make Fellaini an integral part of the side.
He's understood to have reassured Fellaini, who had been linked with a move to Napoli, that he will get a chance to shine on his return.
Fellaini is expected to be back available in three weeks.
