Virgil van Dijk is expecting to make a very positive impact at Celtic following the completion of his move from FC Groningen.
The 21-year Dutch defender arrives at Parkhead with a high rating and says he plans to use the hints and tricks he has learned from Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany, Chelsea ace David Luiz and Paris Saint-Germain's Thiago Silva.
"Ronaldinho was my idol as a kid but I have modelled myself on Kompany, Luiz and Thiago Silva," said van Dijk.
"They are the players I look up to - you have to aim high.
"Celtic are a big club and they can help me improve. I am excited by the prospect of playing here and excited about the chance of winning medals."
