PSG defender Gregory van der Wiel admits he rejected a move to Newcastle United last summer.
Van der Wiel signed for PSG last summer from Ajax.
"I love Paris. I had a chance to go to Newcastle, but I do not want to live in a place like that. I prefer Paris, where everything is connected and alive," said the Dutchman.
